The Concept

At Four Brothers Research Farms, we are the driving force behind the R&D wing of our company. Our farms, spanning 150 acres across Lahore, Kabirwala, and Multan, are the foundation for our cutting-edge seed development. We have a team of 18 highly qualified scientists and breeders who tirelessly explore, study, and conduct field experiments throughout Pakistan’s diverse agro-climatic zones. Their goal is to ensure the commercial viability and success of every new variety. To guarantee a steady supply of high-quality seeds, we also maintain a 7-acre processing and storage facility in Multan. Our commitment to quality is upheld through stringent SOPs for every new seed brand, whether locally developed or imported, setting a new standard for quality control in the industry.

Pioneering Genetic Research and Farming Support, Our R&D team is organized into specialized groups to tackle every aspect of seed development. One group is dedicated to pioneering research, including the discovery of new genes, patenting genetically modified crops, and bringing new varieties to market. Two other groups focus on varietal development and large-scale commercial production, managing over 2,500 acres with our contract farmers.

For the first time in Pakistan’s private sector, we have developed and gained approval for eight advanced insect-resistant genetically modified cotton varieties. These groundbreaking seeds, containing single, double, and triple genes, offer farmers a powerful tool to combat pests and maximize their yields. This innovation reduces the need for frequent crop sprays and pesticide for cotton crop. We also have a dedicated team of agronomists, entomologists, pathologists, and soil scientists who act as extension workers. They provide essential agriculture consultancy services online and, in the field, helping farmers implement modern cultivation technologies to boost productivity and profitability.
